Looking Back at San Fran

Lance was in Stocton, Calif. training for Macaroni Grill for two weeks. At the end of his training, I meet him in San Francisco to hang out for a few days (May 19-22). It was so much fun, I had to do a little rewind here and show you some of our good times!

If you go to San Fran, you have to ride a cable car...don't you?!

Given a list from a co-worker who used to live in Calif. (and actually using it!), we were able to take in several fun and interesting activities.

Ghirardelli Square - yummy chocolate treats...not to mention a "to-die-for" ice cream parlor that we treated ourselves to later.

Lombard Street - the most crooked street in the world.

The Golden Gate Bridge (Go ahead, start singing the theme song to "Full House" - you know you want to!)

Lots of fun things to do on Pier 39! On one day of our visit, we hung out with our friends Brenden and Lorie - Brenden was also training with Lance. It was such a fun day hanging out with them (Lombard Street, Aquarium on the Bay, Rain Forrest Cafe, Golden Gate, street drawings, watching break dancers on the street, the barking sea lions, etc.!!)

I was a little more excited than Lance to be "locked up" at Alcatraz! That was a very interesting tour.

We took a 45-minute detour from San Fran and visited the Jelly Belly factory. Wish the girls could have been there. Hayley, especially, would have loved it - all the colors and wonderul smell - Know what I mean, jelly bean? :-)

The entire visit was definitely a true San Francisco Treat!!

Looks like your trip to SFO was wonderful Rosanne! You guys really did see and do a lot in such a short time. I found it interesting that the friends in your picture correlate height-wise with you and Lance. Both men are tall and you and the other gal are almost the same height too! Looks like it was lots of fun!
