I would stay there again. It has a great pool (which, by the way, made the Top 10 Pools in Vegas list on MSN.com today!) and a great little restaurant called City Market Cafee, which had wonderful food. Probably my favorite place we ate at while there (although the Wynn buffet was also very good - best Mango Sorbet I've ever had)!
We had booked tickets to see Celine Dion (amazing show!!) on Sunday night, but Lance also surprised me with tickets to Mamma Mia (so fun!). I highly recommend either/both shows. If you like musicals and enjoy ABBA music, you'll LOVE Mamma Mia. If you like more of the acrobatic, professional dancing, amazing backdrops, incredible graphics, costumes, lights, etc. and even remotely like one or two of Celine Dion's top hits, you'll be blown away by Celine's concert/show! It's more like a Cirque du Soleil kind of show...with Celine singing in the background. After one song, Lance even turned to me and said, "This blows your Mamma Mia away." Yeah, it was that good. :)
We walked a lot...and on Sunday morning, we walked so much from one end of the strip to the other, that a stop at the Coke store for an ice cold beverage sounded perfect. As we waited in line, the guy in front of us turned around and starred at us for a minute, then we realized we knew each other - it was Rob Szymanski and Steph was there too! Stephanie is Lance's cousin (she actually sang at our wedding)! They live in Vegas, so they're usually never on the strip, but they were entertaining Rob's mom - so they too needed a stop at the Coke store on a 103 degree weather day. We haven't seen them for so long - it was nice to visit with them.
What a fun weekend getaway (thanks to Hatzenbeller's for watching the girls). Oh, and I learned how to play Blackjack...on the machines first, then I played at the real table! I won a little, lost a little, then I was done. It was fun, but I'm really not much of a gambler. :)

You know, it's true love when it involves both ABBA songs and a live musical with dancing, singing, and silly costumes. tee hee. I imagine you'll find yourself watching a war movie followed by a few hours of sports one day soon... because, well, true love ;) jill
