I know it's been forever...I guess I have a few excuses.
Here's my list of excuses:
1) On Monday, July 28, I came home from work with a cramp. My mom and sister were here visiting because daycare was closed that week for vacation...and Lance was out of town on a work trip. Long story short...and to skip the gory details...I had a pregnancy scare. That night, I met my awesome doctor at the Clinic (because he said if I went to the emergency room, I'd be there FOREVER and pay a MILLION DOLLARS). He checked things out...including a little ultrasound and baby was a-okay and kicking around like a little soccer champ. I had a pocket of blood outside my uterus called a subchorionic hematoma...or something like that...which is basically a pocket of blood that was just draining. Not fun. I was told to put my feet up and just take it easy...so kind of like a temporary bed rest for the week. Oh, had a formal ultrasound the next day (you know, the kind where you fill your bladder and die waiting to be called back from the waiting room...yeah, totally uncomfortable!). And that again confirmed the pocket of blood and that baby was okay and that the pocket just needed to drain and would eventually just go away. whew!
What a blessing it was to have my mom and sister there. (Speaking of blessings, thank you Brad for the beautiful one! Thanks so much to Amber and Brad for their visit too.) My mom and Dianne helped not only physically, but mentally too. Things were better by Thursday and Lance came home that night too. I went back to work on Monday and just took everything a little slower. So that's that.
2) So being back at work after an unexpected time off, I had a lot of catch up to do.
3) Then, on Wednesday Aug. 13, Lance and I headed to Vegas and met Brenden and Lorie there!! We just got back yesterday and had such a nice time! I was glad I took things easy prior to this trip because I felt really good on this trip. Just walked a little slower than I normally would have I guess, and took it easy when I needed to.
4) Again, now that I'm back in the office, I have a lot to catch up on. So much work to do - makes me feel like I need another vacation already! HA!
So here I am digging a little into my lunch hour to do some blogging. Letting you all know that I'm good, baby is good...and I'm back with tons of photos coming your way! They'll come in chunks...so stay tuned!

How SCARY!! It's amazing how much you get attached to these little ones before they are born and worry about them just as much (if not more) than the ones OUTSIDE your tummy.
Did you peek even a little bit during the ultrasounds to see if this one had little boy parts??
So glad to have you back and so glad to hear everything is a-ok!
Hi Rosanne,
I am so glad everything worked out. I had a similar scare with Laurel, also when C was out of town. Eeeeeee. I am so glad that there was much support, and that everything is going smoothly for baby Hatz.
Love the photo of the three cousins at the bottom of the last post. Gosh, they are adorable!
Take care of yourself!
Rosanne,
It's too bad we haven't had anytime to get to know each other better. You sound so AWESOME! I just wanted to say, both Michael and I appreciate all that you and Lance did to get our family here to Great Falls and to make sure we are adjusting well. It definitely isn't California and I am trying hard to adjust. With my daughter leaving for for college this week, I sure hope to find things to do here to keep me busy! It's so gonna be a tough time for me! I am so open for suggestions!
I also wanted to say CONGRATS on the new baby! I am so happy for the two of you and whenever I do get a chance to see you at the restaurant you look wonderful! Pregnancy suits you!! Let me know if I can be of reassurance to you... after birthing 5 of my own I've been through it all!
Hope we can finally get a chance to know each other better. Take care of yourself!
Love,
Felicia
