Thankful for playing

In light of Thanksgiving this month, let's share some things we're grateful for. This is definitely not where my list starts, but I'm not starting at the top of my grateful list. Just some fun random things I'm thankful for.

Today, I'm grateful for my part time work status. Working 3 days a week, rather than 5, allows me to be with my children more.

I love watching Hayley get on the bus in the morning and watch her get off the bus in the afternoon on Thursday's and Friday's.

I love the time I have with Jacob and Samantha at home...and for the alone time I get with just Samantha when Jacob takes his morning nap.

I appreciate the quiet time I get when/if Jacob and Mantha both take a nap in the afternoon at the same time...just before Hayley gets home from school.

I am happy I get to both attend and host play groups on Thursdays. It's so nice to be around other friends of mine and interact with and get to know their little ones better.
Speaking of which, here's a fun little cookie craft we did with the kids at the play group we just did at my house two weeks ago.

I'm grateful that my husband supports and appreciates my time at home.

I'm grateful for the extra time I have to do laundry and other little household chores, rather then using my nights and/or weekends to do those things.

What are you grateful for today?
