He’s walking* and talking
There is no place he won’t go –
He wiggles and giggles
He puts on quite the show!
You wanna talk sports?
Just show him a ball** –
He lights up with excitement
He loves them all!
He has grown from a baby
To a little toddler boy –
So strong and so sweet
He’s such a great joy!
How did 12 months
Just up and disappear?
I’ll blink my eyes
And a man he’ll be, I fear!

For clarification: *walking along couches, taking up to 8-9 steps by himself. Not completely walking on his own...but close!**specifically a BASKETBALL...of course!
