I know - for those of you that REALLY know me, picking up a book and just reading it for fun is...well, not me.
But ever since reading the Christmas Sweater in December for a book group...I'm a bit hooked. For book group in February, I read The Wednesday Letters by Jason F. Wright.
And to no surprise, book group at Amber's house was a wonderful time.
I'm anxious to read Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls for March book group. I just haven't been able to get my hands on a copy of the book yet. I hear it's amazing.
And I even read a book IN BETWEEN book group books! I know, call me crazy. (hehe) I just finished The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks (I like his sappy love stories...you remember The Notebook, right? Good stuff.) Of course now I'll have to see the movie...to compare of course. ;) Lance even said to me, "Oh great, you're not going to be one of those that say, 'the book was SOOO much better than the movie!' are you?" Well, maybe...just maybe. :)
You have to understand, reading one book in one year (you read that correctly) is a big feat for me. And that's just about what my record has been....if that sheds any light to my new accomplishments - and excitement. ;)

Love it, I knew someday you'd figure out how great reading is!! And the book is always better than the movie - sorry but it's the truth.
I miss the GF book group. It was such a great part of my life. I am so happy that you are doing it now.

No really I am just excited to hang out with you and see your family. Has it been 8 years since we have been to Great Falls?
