Anyone remember this?
This is from last April, when we finally got sick and tired of calling Carp's Drain Cleaning about every six months to come and "unplug" our pipes. We forked out some major $mula$ and had Ligget Construction come out and fix the pipes...the broken part of it anyway. Long story short: We should have never had the plugged pipes problem after they fixed it last year. Well, since then it's happened at least twice. But this time, it's the first half of that SAME pipe that is now broken. We found this out last Monday when it backed up on us. Meaning we can't run the water. So, we packed some things and headed to Lance's parent's house for the week...not knowing how long we would be there. Today Ligget Construction is out at our house digging AGAIN and fixing the pipe AGAIN. And since it wasn't their previous work that was 'broken' - we are again forking out some big bucks to have this done. (And trust me, we tried everything to blame it on someone else or have insurance pay for it, etc...to no avail). TALK ABOUT FRUSTRATING!
So, this is how we've been camping out at Ken and Vickie's - who have been so gracious to have us in their home...AGAIN. (Because of course that's where we were last year for the first round of this).
The only great thing is, the ENTIRE pipe will now be brand new, so no worries Heather! :)
I said to Lance the other day, "We have two houses right now, neither of which we can live in right now!" But on the bright side, our new home is coming along wonderfully. More updates on that soon to come. :)

that stinks...hopefully you can get back in your house soon...just in time to pack up and move to another house. ahhhhhhhhh!!
It's too bad that you can't come and stay with your cousins in Utah while displaced from your home!! The new house is looking fantastic. I can't wait to see it in real life, and see you moved in!!
