Bitter-Sweet week

Since we're in the process of getting into our new house, my mom and dad graciously offered to take our girls for a week so we could have the evenings after work to get stuff done (and not worry about running over little toes or thinking about bed times)! So last Saturday, after almost a week of my mom, Lexi and sister's company (and a couple of days of my dad being here), they took off with our little ones to Atlanta!

Hayley and Samantha were so excited, especially since they were making a day and a half pit stop in Utah to visit their cousins. I'll have to post some pictures of their good times later when someone sends them to me.

At the GF airport, they were great, ready to fly with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Dianne and cousin Lexi. After they gave me huge hugs they following grandpa through security. That's when I lost it. My mom must have known I was going to do that, because she stayed back for a minute to comfort me. I know they were going to be in good hands, but a week is a long time.

Long story short: they flew great, had a great time in UT and are having a wonderful time in beautiful Georgia (especially with the nice weather there).

They will be back Monday or Tuesday. The plan was to come back tomorrow, but seat availability doesn't look so good Sat. and Sunday, so they're waiting until the first of the week. I GUESS I can wait a few more days. ;) The phone pics and conversations sure do help, though. Thanks, mom!

Oh, and if you were wondering, Lance and I stayed in our house for the first time last night...on our NEW bedroom furniture (pictures to come). And we HAVE been getting a lot done. Including taking advantage of no kids and enjoying some dates. We saw Baby Mama, cute movie, pretty funny - and Iron Man, AWESOME MOVIE, highly recommend, and dinner at Boston's Pizza (the Florentine Pizza is so yummy). :)

Here are our little travelers. They look so big, don't they?!

I'm excited to see you girls! And of course, so is your daddy! We'll have your new room all ready for ya!
