Ice Breaker

I ran in the Icebreaker again this year. Just the 3-mile...although it didn't feel "JUST" like the 3-mile...it was a bit tougher this time. Well, seeing as how I only ran twice the week before the race, I think that had something to do with it. Heather and Lorie and I ran. Here' how we did:

Heather: 27:09
Me: 28:35
Lorie: 29:11

All of us under 30 minutes - I think that's pretty darn good! :) It was fun, a beautiful day and a nice little accomplishment, nonetheless. Our families came to cheer us on as well. Hayley is always so supportive and yelled, "Go mommy - you're doing good!" as I ran by. It was a real pick-me-up.

Go Rosie, how awesome, you know how much I hate running so three miles seems to me like fifty, I'm very impressed. Also thank you for the uplifting comments about Jeff leaving it made me feel better and I really do keep thinking about my friends (which you are one of) that have husbands that have to business travel often and that inspires me to know that I'll make it through. You rock and yes we will have to chat!!

Under 30 minutes, you qualify to pass off a DTG requirement for Teachers! I don't think I can do that without being sore for the next few days!
