(*Editor's note: It was Lance's birthday on Sunday, but I can't find my camera...so I'll wait to post that entry until I can find my camera and put a few photos from that day with it.)
1) Samantha Highlight: Did I forget to tell you Samantha is potty-trained!!?? Yup! It's so awesome! She only wears a diaper or pull-up to bed now, which is very often all dry in the mornings or after naps. I don't worry about diapers at bed time because I know that part just fades and soon she'll be an all-panty-wearing girl like her big sis in no time!
My mom started the job full force when she was here the week before they took the girls to Atlanta. Before they left, Mantha was already doing really good. Then my mom had the entire week in Atlanta with her...and when they came back, she had panties on! We're so proud of her and so grateful to my mom for that hard work!
2) Hayley Highlight: The other thing my mom did that has been so helpful for us is she worked on teaching Hayley to sit at the dinner table until she finishes ALL her food.
This may not seem like a big deal to some, but it has been an issue for quite some time now. She would just get so distracted and get down and play around and we had the hardest time controlling this. Plus, she has been our little picky eater since day one, so that didn't help.
While in Atlanta, my mom somehow got her to eat everything...even the "green" stuff and other "Hayley non-favorites" like sweet potatoes...all in one sitting! She now won't get down from the table until she eats all her food...whatever is on the plate. It's AWESOME!
THANKS AGAIN, MOM! These two things have helped our busy lives so much! We are so grateful!

Yeah potty what a big girl! Kudos to Rosamaria! I know Avery's a little young but I already sit her on her potty whenever I'm in the bathroom, I guess hoping one day she'll just figure it out. Doesn't hurt to try huh. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I have less than a year left of diapers with the little squirt:)
Good job girls!!! Rylan was easy to potty train and I'm hoping Kyra will be even faster since she has a big sibling and she's a girl ;) Gotta love grandmas!
Whew, congratulations! We are currently immersed in potty training with charts, stickers, jelly beans, drama... This is, I think, the third try.
I think I need a consultant like your mama ;) Patience isn't my strongest suit, and tons is required.
And, if I turn my back to take L to the potty, J dumps sweet potatos on his white shirt because that's how it goes... tee hee.
