Big, big belly

So I'm almost 12 weeks - that's right, not even quite 3 months yet...and I've got a 5 or 6-month looking prego belly. Okay, fine, maybe a 4 or 5-month belly. Don't believe me? Here's proof:

I just took this today on my cell phone (to send to my mom).

And for more proof that it's not twins (which is what my mom is teasing about), here's an ultra sound photo from Wednesday's Dr. appt. :)

My doctor said he loves this stage because it looks like a little gummy bear. This scan isn't the greatest, but it's true, it really did look like a little gummy bear! :) A nice, healthy gummy bear - ha!

You look so cute pregnant.
SECRET...I voted for a girl. I know you guys want a boy but the whole 3 girl thing seems to run in the Shoot the Moon family. I could be wrong. We'll have to wait and see!!

They tell me this is the beauty of #3... You get to show off the belly even sooner than with #2. Ah well, maternity clothes are getting cuter and cuter, so there's that to encourage you ;)

Glad to see a first glimse and hear all is going well.

The photos to the right show such BIG girls, I can't believe how fast they change, even just on your blog!

Congratulations to you and Lance! Dr. Handwerk first described my baby that way too as Steven and I were trying to decide at 12 weeks whether it was a boy or a girl. Thus 'Gummy Bear' became my son's nickname of 'Ryley Bear.' Best wishes for a healthy baby!
