My little office visitor

I don't know if I've explained how Hayley's school mornings work. We drop her off at her little friend's Ben's house. I know her mom (Sydne) from high school - nicest gal ever. She is the sister-in-law of a friend I graduated with...Sydne's a year older. Anyway, well some days Sydne can't take her in the mornings...and it's only very random and not very often, so we just have to figure out what to do with her from 8-845 a.m. Today was the first of those days. It just worked out that I could bring her to my office! She was very good and ate her breakfast in my office and just hung out until 8:45. Then I took her to school (just right down the street from my office a few blocks). So of course I took a picture of her "working" at my desk. :) It was fun to have her with me this morning. :)

She must take after me mother. A little work-a-holic. I bet she had so much fun hanging out with you at work.

She looks so big!!! I haven't seen her in while! Fun just spending time together if even for a little while.

tee hee... this reminds me of how small the world is (again)... Sydne, who was in my seventh hour class the first year I taught with her brother. Steve, in my class with 23 male students and three girls, also my first year.

Holy cow, subject to six million teacher mistakes. You cannot imagine the suffering ;)

I keep up with them a little on Facebook and elsewhere. Gosh, what great people.

You know, Laurel wears lots of boy things because there was some wishful thinking. She also can catch better than any of her peers. heh, heh.
