Random Moments

Lance hired Chuck to be the brand manager for Shoot the Moon's Chili's restaurants. He and his family moved here from Spokane and they are building a house across the street from us. While they anxiously await for their house to be done, we have opened up our house to them. They are staying in our two extra bedrooms downstairs. Chuck's wife is Michelle (or Cocoa...as Samantha nick-named her...who knows where that came from, but it's pretty cute) and they have two boys - Joseph, 15, a sophomore at CMR, and Elijah, 11, a 6th grader at Meadowlark.

They have been just great around the house...well, who doesn't love extra helping hands...especially ones that cook dinner all the time and clean the house!! (hehe!) Really though, they are such a nice family and the girls love having fun company. :)

Here we all are at a CMR football game. Well, I'm not in the photo, but only because I'm taking it!

The girls having a good time at the game, dancing to the music from the band.

Michelle is great with the girls and is so sweet to do crafts with them. Here they are making haunted houses.

And here is the girls' finished result.

Just having a little fun with Hayley's hair one day.

Joseph letting Mantha comb his hair one night. She kept saying, "Dat feel good?" Future stylist?

We caught Hayley asleep in her room one night like this:

She used a bunch of stuffed animals as her covers. She's funny.

Mantha cut her lip the other day. Okay, well, really all the kiddos were playing at grandma's house the other day and the story we ended up getting was something about Jaxon punching, Mantha hitting the wall and bloody lip. No worries, all is well. But here's our little fighter. :)

More later - just playing a little catch up again. :)

Love the dancing and the hair-- oh that reminds me-- I have news about dance, kind of. I talked to Nadine and she said she was interviewing some teachers to set up classes later in the evening, like 5:30. I told her any day but Wednesdays (I don't know what your schedule is like--except gymnastics :0 I ran into a couple of other parents/grandparents from the last class who also were going to talk to her about later classes on Mondays or Tuesdays. So maybe next semester!! I'm excited--Taylee loved the combo class.
