The Lion and the Lamb

For book group this week, I read this book:
A Lion and a Lamb by Rand H. Packer. It's a church book. Good story. Great information. Maybe just told a little....scattered. The story - for me, anyway - was more informative, rather than entertaining and progressive. It didn't flow as nicely as some other stories/books I've read. Either way, I'm glad I read it. Well, okay, I confess. I fast read...and/or skimmed it. I had to. I don't "fly" through books. I'm a slower reader. But since this book isn't at the local library and only a few gals own it - it was hard to come by and hang on to for too long, as others were waiting to read it. So I read/skimmed as fast as I could. I believe I still gathered the gist of it and slowed at the "good" parts. ;)

I wasn't able to make it to book group...but I'm still glad I read the book.
