When Lance is traveling, Hayley usually has the privilege of sleeping in my bed with me. The other night, after I turned out the lights, Hayley said she was scared. Then the following conversation took place:
Me: Well, if you're scared, we could say a prayer and ask Heavenly Father to help you not be scared.
H: No, I would still be scared.
Me: You just need to trust that Heavenly Father and Jesus will be with you and they will help you not be scared. They are always with you. You just have to think of Them and They are there.
H: Like Jesus is in my heart.
Me: Yes.
H: And in my head?
Me: Yes.
H: (Snickering) Well, He couldn't be in my hands...(still snickering).
Me: Why not?
H: (Wiping her hands together) Because when I wash my hands, Jesus would get all soapy!
Me: (Smiling) Yup, I guess you're right.
She didn't seem to be scared anymore and we both went to sleep. :)

That is too cute! Rylan gets the privilege to sleep in our bed too when Shon is gone. In fact, Shon has been gone this entire week and the minute he left Rylan was making his bedtime arrangements!
