Very late Valentine's Day post

Okay, so I'm behind - but here it is anyway. It's become tradition for us to make homemade pizza every Valentine's Day. No special recipe, just something new, quick and easy.

Hayley helped with the pizza making:

We then put out a big old sheet in the living room and enjoyed a 'picnic' with our pizza.

In the morning, Lance surprised us girls and had flowers for all of us waiting on the kitchen table:

I put together little Valentine's for the kids at daycare...and this year I got a little crafty (keyword LITTLE) and copied an idea Michelle at Scribbit had. Little mice. They are just a heart, folded in half. Googly eyes, little heart stickers for ears and ribbon for wiskers and a sucker for the tail. They were cute, but not enough...so I stuck these in a bag along with some bubbles, hot chocolate packets and some more suckers. :) Hayley had a fun time helping me put these together. :)

Oh, and after reading Amber's idea for the love month on giving her hubby cute little things everyday, I took some of those ideas and gave a little something to Lance about once every three days leading up to Valentine's Day. Such as: Mints with a note that read, "We were 'mint' to be together." Lucky Charms with a note, "I'm lucky to have you as my sweetheart." Nuts - "I'm nuts about you." Etc. He appreciated it!

Hope everyone had a nice HEART day!
