Jacob's Birthday Parties

I borrowed play group and made it into Jacob's little birthday party this year. Worked out great. Had all his little friends here and treats and play time. All you need for a 2 year old!


One of my friends' little boys was picking out a gift for Jacob in the store and his mom said he really wanted to get Jacob big boy underwear. I thought it was a perfect gift. We're not quite there, but we're in the beginning stages of potty training - and we didn't have any big boy underwear yet. Jacob loved them and put on about 5 pair of underwear overtop each other - his buddy, Dawson - the one who game him the underwear - then wanted some too - so we gave him a pair to wear at the party...and take home. It was pretty cute. :)

On his actual birthday (Feb. 1), we had family over for dinner and treat. Again, always a fun time.

I can't believe my baby is two. He's such a little boy. It's bitter-sweet, really. He's such a fun, active, loud, lovable little boy! I love to snuggle him...when he sits long enough for me to do so - which unfortunately is only when he's sick or tired. But I love it still the same. I love the time I get alone with him when his sisters are in school/pre-school. He cracks me up!
