Some friends from church threw me and my friend (aka my hairdresser) a baby shower at Chili's last week. It is both our third child - but my first boy and her first girl...so they knew we needed a good start on things the opposite color. :) It was SO sweet and so much fun. The only bummer was that my friend, who is due at the end of this month, didn't make it because she was in the hospital have 6-minute-apart contractions and awful pain. Turns out...I think...that she may have been having a gallbladder attack. Poor thing. We missed her.
We ended up getting a bunch of different appetizers and some desserts and sharing it all. It was so nice...not to mention all the incredibly cute gifts for baby boy Hatz that I received.

That was nice of them to do that and glad you have some more blue things to add to Baby Hatz's collection. Hope Melissa's doing better too. Love and miss you!

so sad that i missed the party! we have been up to our eyeballs with middle school basketball, band concerts, bakesales, christmas programs, and the like. i am really good at buying boy stuff, though, so i'll get you something good. :)
