Dear Santa...

3 days left...are you ready?

Last night we FINALLY got around to helping the girls write letters to Santa. Lance was writing Samantha's and I was writing Hayley's. They were both so sweet in telling us what they wanted to say. Samantha said something about being excited for her baby brother to come...Hayley told Santa to be safe riding in his sleigh - oh, and she liked his suit. Samantha than asked for presents...and some soap. What can I say, she likes to keep her hands clean. :)

Hayley asked for movies and puzzles. She was satisfied with just asking for those two things. She was more concerned about telling Santa that when he comes, he just needs to leave presents and not take any of the existing ones that will already be under the tree. Especially the ones that she made (at daycare and preschool). I guess she's worried about that because she also told that to him when we visited Santa at the mall on Saturday. I think Santa was a little confused, but he just nodded and said he'd come to her house and bring her some presents.

I was proud of Samantha for being so brave on Santa's lap. She even told him she wants "pwesents" when he asked her what she wanted. But come photo time, she just wasn't going to smile for anyone. She wasn't upset or scared...just a little unsure, I think. It still came out to be a pretty cute photo.
