She got her soap...and more

The girls have to pass the living room to get to our room. On Christmas morning, I woke up to Hayley in my face at about 8 a.m. saying, "Santa came!!" It was the cutest "wake up call" ever! But she was kind enough to let her sister sleep. So we all just watched cartoons until Samantha woke up about 20-25 minutes later.

Remember how Samantha asked for soap from Santa? Well, he delivered. :) As soon as she pulled it out of her stocking, she was so excited and asked if she could go wash her hands! She's too funny!

Opening presents Christmas morning

Samantha LOVES baby dolls...and got another to add to her collection. This one does a lot of real life things, though. She absolutely loves it!

Hayley likes to play "store" - so this cash register was a great gift. :)

The girls got a new princess radio/alarm clock. They think the coolest part about it is the stars it projects onto the ceiling at night. :)

Santa left an envelope in the tree with the girls' name on it and a rhyming note inside. It was a clue to find their last gift from him. First it took them to the dryer...

Then to the baby's crib...

And finally to their gift in the office downstairs! It was a short hunt...but for the girls, it was just right! They love their new Noah's Ark table and chairs! :) And I love it too. It's just so cute!

I have a video of it...but for some reason I have the worst time uploading short videos. So I don't have a very good photo of the table and chairs, or their reactions...sorry.

After we ALL had naps, we went up to Hatz's for more Christmas fun. However, they do Christmas SO stinkin' fast, that I didn't get a chance to snap ONE photo of ANYONE opening presents. I just know that the girls got some fun, new movies (3 of which we watched this weekend), some puzzles...uh, and I honestly can't remember what else right now. Then we had Christmas dinner (some had crab legs again and others ate lasagna... since I couldn't do the crab legs again, I had lasagna).

I forgot to mention that I got an awesome Kitchen Aid Mixer from my parents...but I opened it early and used it for making some yummy Thanksgiving treats. I just didn't want to mention it then because my sis-in-law got one from my parents too, and I didn't want to ruin the surprise. :) Lance got some very handsome sweaters and sweater-vests (which he loves) from my parents and we got a nice painting for our house from the Hatz's. We were spoiled...and we are so grateful.

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends - here's to the upcoming New Year!!

I'm guessing they also got cheerleading costumes, I had to laugh that half way through the pictures they changed from jammies to cheerleading outfits! I'm also impressed that they slept in until eight! I'm so glad you had a nice christmas!

Samantha is so funny. I'm surprised how long a tube of chap stick keeps her occupied! Speaking of Samantha, poor little girl. I hope everything turns out alright. Good luck tomorrow!
