One more book...please!!

I love that my girls love books. Reading before bedtime is part of the routine, and we usually read 2 books, say a prayer and say goodnight. Some nights, however, call for just one book...you know, when we're all especially tired, which I THOUGHT was last night. But for some reason, the girls just had to have one more book...then another...then another.

We read/looked at the picture book (for Mantha's learning sake), a Dora Valentine's book (it's still fun even after the holiday passes), Mommy Loves Me, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Baby oh Baby the Places You'll Go (a Dr. Suess 'to be read in utero' book - No, I'm not prego, but it's still a fun book to read), and Mr. Brown can Moo, Can You? (Another Dr. Suess).

So the bedtime ritual took a little longer than usual...and I was tired and didn't want to keep reading. But in the end, I'm glad they asked for "just one more" - it was worth it to hold my girls just a little longer. :)
