Super Saturday

We started off Saturday with Hayley's gymnastics class. We left a little early to take the girls to the Gibson Park Easter Egg Hunt. Without going into too many details, just take my word for it - DON'T DO IT! It was a big free-for-all where parents and kids get trampled and it's over in 1 minute. Hayley was lucky to get four eggs, one of which she put in Samantha's basket just so her sister had something in there...because there was no way Mantha was going to get any on her own. H. was sweet to share.
I set her down once for a second and she got run over! The Easter Bunny was there, but I wasn't even going to try to get a photo of the girls with him. If you look close, the bunny is in the background of this picture (good enough)!

Our friends, the Taylor's were there also. After we had a good laugh about the experience, we decided to have our own hunt. They came over later that day and we had a lot of fun!

Oh, but before they came over, Hayley and I had a great date together. Grabbed lunch from the Albertson's deli while we had the oil changed in the car at Pro Lube, then went to WalMart and saw the Easter Bunny there!

We painted Easter eggs, had an Easter Egg Hunt and had tacos for dinner. It was such a nice time! :)

Mantha was so dainty about finding an egg and putting it in her basket.

Kylee, Maura, Ashlynd, Samantha and Hayley showing off their loot!

What made it all even better is that it was such a beautiful day out! Thanks for the fun, Taylor's!

You have been a busy blogger! I love all your pictures, your Easter looks much more festive than ours. Your desserts look so good. I will have to give them a try
