Sickness

For my faithful readers - I apologize I didn't get anything posted last Thursday and Friday. I actually had good ones ready to go (I'll save them for this week)...but I was home Thurs. and Fri. with a really sick daughter. Hayley got the flu pretty bad. The kind that comes with a fever that wouldn't break...no matter what we tried; chills; body aches; vomitting (only once); and the other (if you know what I mean)...you name it, she got it. Her eyes were even red and burning and itchy. The girl looked as if she had just run a marathon...and I'm pretty sure a 3 1/2 year old is not suppose to look like they just ran a marathon. (I should have taken a picture...describing how she looked isn't doing it justice...but taking a picture when she was that miserable didn't seem right.)

Well, she finally woke up WITHOUT a fever on Sunday...and it didn't come back! Poor thing. Glad that is over. So far Mantha is good...but crossing fingers that she doesn't get it too.

Happy Monday.

Poor Hayley! Hope she's the only "lucky" one...

Oh I hate it when the kids are sick! It is so stressful and you just want to help them so badly! I'm glad she's feeling better.

I am sorry that my cutie pie niece was not feeling well. I was right there with her last week, with the fever, chills, cough, body aches...I had it all. I am so glad to hear that she is feeling better. Oh yeah, Paul told me you would be appreciative of his handy-man skills, and I know he would love to help, and I would love to have him help too.
